NK-01 NuKleus

The NuKleus series is the first line of small and adaptable speakers designed and build by Baptiste Moulin. The design is kept simple with a coaxial speaker and Birch plywood for the enclosure..

The main acoustic focus was to off-center the speaker to avoid disruptive out of phase noise from the sound wave turning around the speaker. Then to smooth every edge and corner to avoid strong diffracting second source sound parasitizing waves created as the waves reach each edge and corner. The resonance frequency created by the square-shaped enclosure is being treated inside the enclosure.

The NuKleus speakers exist in a passive and active mode, the active ones are driven by a 15 Watt per channel digital amplifier, with the TDA 2020 integrated circuit.
